STANFORD, Calif. (www.BankOfTheWestClassic.com) –The Bank of the West Classic, the longest-running women-only professional tennis tournament in the world, and title sponsor Bank of the West hosted the third annual Women’s' Executive Symposium on Wednesday morning at the Bank of the West Hospitality Tent located on Sam McDonald Drive on the campus of Stanford University.
The topic of the symposium was “Discovering Your Path to Living an Enriched Life” with an expert panel exploring some of the many ways one can achieve a more meaningful and rewarding life.
The panel included Villy Wang, President & CEO, BAYCAT; Maria Lazzarini, Executive VP & Northern California Division Executive, Bank of the West; Maggie Neale, Faculty Director, Executive Program for Women Leaders, Stanford University Graduate School of Business; Dr. Lynn Orr, Curator of European Art, Legion of Honor, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco; and Sat Kartar Khalsa-Ramey, Director of Hospital Chaplaincy and Clinical Pastoral Education, California Pacific Medical Center.
Opening remarks were provided by Sarah Thornton, Executive Vice President and Marketing Director, Bank of the West. Three-time Grand Slam Champion and former World No. 1 Lindsay Davenport also made an appearance. The panel was moderated by Wendy Tokuda, Evening News Anchor, KPIX-TV.

The Bank of the West Classic, a Sony Ericsson WTA Tour event, will be played July 14-20 at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium at Stanford University and features a 28-player singles draw as well as a 16-team doubles draw. The event is owned and operated by IMG and serves as the opening women’s event of the Olympus US Open Series.
