www.BankOfTheWestClassic.com) – The football and tennis worlds came together as the Oakland Raiderettes performed on Stadium Court prior to the Marion Bartoli and Ai Sugiyama semifinal match Saturday night at the Bank of the West Classic at the Taube Family Tennis Center on the Stanford University campus.
Five members of the squad met with fans to take pictures and sign autographs at the Oakland Raiders’ tent prior to their dance routine. Following their performance, the cheerleaders made an appearance during the ESPN2 broadcast of the tournament.
Representing the Raiderettes were Alyssa Easton, Chelsea Bell, Irecel Manalo, Katheleen Hegedus and Liz Johnson.

The Bank of the West Classic, a Sony Ericsson WTA Tour event, will be played July 14-20 at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium at Stanford University and features a 28-player singles draw as well as a 16-team doubles draw. The event is owned and operated by IMG and serves as the opening women’s event of the Olympus US Open Series.
