Tennis and Fashion Join Forces

(www.BankoftheWestClassic.com) – The world’s longest-running women-only professional tennis event, the Bank of the West Classic, will join forces with Nirvana Woman Magazine to host the Nirvana Woman’s Fashion Show Friday at 6 p.m on Sam MacDonald Road at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium on the campus of Stanford University.

In the inaugural year of the event, the Mountain View, Calif. based magazine will showcase multiple designers with various styles to create a high-fashion South Asian infused show.

The clothing and jewelry will be presented by 15 different models in four separate segments, including jewelry, contemporary, evening wear and South Asian Fusion.

Nirvana Woman stands in a class of its own as the premiere national high-fashion, beauty, and upscale lifestyle magazine for the contemporary South Asian woman.

The Bank of the West Classic, a Sony Ericsson WTA Tour event, will be played July 14-20 at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium at Stanford University and features a 28-player singles draw as well as a 16-team doubles draw. The event is owned and operated by IMG and serves as the opening women’s event of the Olympus US Open Series.
