About the SAP Open:
The SAP Open, the premier men's professional tennis tournament in Northern California, returns to HP Pavilion at San Jose February 8-14. Already entered into the field of players is three-time SAP Open singles champion Andy Roddick (USA), Spanish Star and top-ten player Fernando Verdasco (SPA), world's former #1-ranked player Lleyton Hewitt (AUS), former two-time SAP Open singles finalist and doubles champion Mardy Fish (USA), Czech superstar Tomas Berdych (CZE), rising star Sam Querrey (USA), Bay Area favorites Tommy Haas (GER) and Taylor Dent (USA) and Americans Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan, known internationally as the Bryan Brothers.
In addition, two-time SAP Open singles champion and 14-time Grand Slam winner Pete Sampras (USA) will return to compete in a charity singles exhibition match against Verdasco. The Sampras/Verdasco exhibition will kick off tournament week on Monday, February 8 at 7 p.m. at HP Pavilion at San Jose.
